How to apply? Before applying, applicants must contact the Embassy Consular Section by phone or email to arrange an appointment for person interview. Consular opening hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 9am to 12 noon and Fridays from 8:30am to 11:30am. The Consular Section is closed outside these hours as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. At appointed time, applicants must ensure to bring all the required documents and witnesses/guarantees as required. Interviews for identity certificates are conducted by a Consular Officer and can last for 30 to 60 minutes. Usually, the certificates are issued at the end of the interview. In some cases, the applicants will be asked to return on a specified day and time to pick up their certificate(s). At the request of applicants, where their re-appearance at the Embassy is not necessary, we can send their certificates and documents by post in which case the applicants will be required to present a registered, self-addressed return envelop or enclose the necessary payment to cover postage cost. Return of original documents All original documents submitted as part of application will be returned to the applicant after the due process. Ready to apply?
