  Message From the Ambassador Welcome to the new face of Afghanistan in northern Europe: the new website of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Oslo! We are proud to be representing Afghanistan in Norway as well as, on a non-resident basis, in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.My colleagues and I at the embassy will do what we can to ensure that our website does justice to Afghanistan today, a country of unique features and of unprecedented global importance. Afghanistan and China Signs Cooperation Agreements (Dec 30, 2008) China and Afghanistan on Tuesday signed two agreements, under which Chinese government would provide a total of 80 million Yuan (about 11 million U.S. dollars) to Afghanistan. The agreements were signed here by Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Yang Houlan and Afghan Foreign Minister Rangin Dafar Spanta. Under the first agreement, China would provide 50 million Yuan (about 7 million U.S. dollars) to Afghanistan for consultative projects between the two countries, while under the second agreement China would provide Kabul with wheat worth 30 million Yuan (about 4 million U.S. dollars ... |
